Congratulations one and all for this achievement. It is an accomplishment worthy of recognition and will open doors with keys as yet imagined. As 2015 marks the beginning of our 20th year offering this degree, I want to take a few moments to share some of our history. In a recent interview I was asked about TIES’ accomplishments and I thought you might like to hear my response:
Our present education paradigm is based on the intellectual culture of the enlightenment and the economic structure of the Industrial Revolution. It therefore resembles a manufacturing process that “delivers” products based on the perceived needs of a consumer society.
