Montessori Live first began development in the summer of 2005 with three ideas in mind. The first was to assemble a streaming video-based online lesson library to support Montessori educators across the globe. The second was to record the legacy of Montessori history through filming leaders of the Montessori movement. Lastly, to bring an affordable and adult-friendly online training model to the global Montessori community.  We believe that online learning supports self-direction and responsibility and provides a unique opportunity to tailor training to the specific needs of adult learners.  Through innovative technology and the adult learner's ability to practice assignments with the Montessori materials at his or her location Montessori Live has streamlined the need to attend in-person training sessions.

Montessori Live offers four highly regarded MACTE-accredited teacher education programs: Early Childhood, Elementary I, Elementary I-II, and Elementary II.  The majority of our classes are online. Our Summer, Fall, and Spring in-person residencies provide hands-on experience, daily immersion in Montessori practice, and philosophy as well as the human connection. Altogether, Montessori Live has developed a highly effective, adult-friendly training model to support educators and school leaders across the globe.

It is through the commitment of our faculty and participating educators that more children will benefit from an educational experience that transforms as well as informs. We are here to support these educators as they nurture and guide the next generation.  Visit our website atwww.montessorilive.org or contact us at 833-366-5483.  Follow us on Twitter @montessorilive.
